Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show Innovation Awards

Take a look at all of the new products on display for consideration in the Innovation Awards competition! An independent team of builders will judge each new product submission and selected winners will be announced at the Grand Opening Breakfast.

The 2012 Hotrod & Restoration Trade Show will feature more display cars than ever before. Over 40 hot rods, street rods,muscle cars and classic trucks are scheduled to be showcased on the trade show floor.

Golden Builder Award
Top industry builders will be bringing their vehicles to compete for the Golden Builder Award, which will be presented at the Grand Opening Breakfast on Friday morning.

Wrap a Rod, hosted by

Come see a wrap demonstration on 1933 Ford coupe on Friday, March 23 at 11:00am and Saturday March 24 at 11:00am and learn first-hand the techniques used to effectively wrap a car. You will see the proper set up and installation techniques used by the professionals to turn an ordinary paint job into something extraordinary. Seaming, contour fitting and proper alignment techniques will all be covered. And you can ask the expert questions to better understand the application.

Enduratex™ has invited Master Craftsman Upholsterer Ace Eckleberry to do a live cut-and-sew demonstration. He will be showing how to create and cover trim panels using the Vineyard Collection, a premium faux leather product from Enduratex™. He will also be showing attendees how to work with vinyl and sculpt custom designs using closed cell foam.

The demos will take place on the show floor on Friday at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Enduratex™ booth #123

Check out the live metal shaping demo right on the show floor presented by The Tin Man’s Garage, Inc. See first-hand how power equipment is used by professionals and its benefits compared to the English wheel. The Tin Man's Garage, Inc. is a Chicagoland restoration/hot rod shop that has established its reputation by performing the highest quality design, metal shaping and fabrication. If you have ever had any specific metal shaping questions, this is a great time to ask, we will be answering those questions while demonstrating throughout the show.
